Print to the People is an artist led, social enterprise dedicated to the production and promotion of traditional printmaking processes.
Letterpress is a traditional printing technique that has been used for hundreds of years. Originally developed to print text from metal letters, letterpress has recently been adopted by artists, illustrators and graphic designers as an elegant way to combine text imagery on the page.
Using a collection of antique wood and metal type, participants will be encouraged to experiment and play to make their own series of unique prints!
This event is also part of the Age of Creativity Festival which celebrates the extraordinary range of Age-Friendly creative and cultural work taking place across England and reaches out into our communities to help more people get involved.
