Kate Dimbleby Performs for Silver Social

After a successful series of workshops across Breckland's libraries and rural villages, Silver Social was delighted to welcome back Kate Dimbleby for the delivery of the first ever Silver Social live performances.

Visiting Ashill, Harling, Shipdham, Mattishall and Necton, Kate performed her solo show 'Songbirds' to an afternoon audience, which incorporated songs from her album and a mixture of storytelling and improvisation. Tickets were only £5 and included refreshments (tea, coffee and cake!) during the interval.

The second half of Kate's show included plenty of audience interaction, a treat for those who hadn't been able to attend the workshop sessions earlier in the year.

Whilst Kate's tour was a limited 5 performances, Silver Social is already looking ahead to its next live show, 'Ministry of Biscuits,' which will be performing in libraries this June. Tickets can be booked by calling 01362 656870 or emailing community@breckland.gov.uk
